The Kanagawa Government has already decided to provide a “cooperative payment to prevent the spread of infection” to a wide range of industries, such as restaurants and entertainment facilities, that cooperated in the closure of the business from April 24 to May 6. Applications are accepted from April 24 to June 1, 2020.
Besides, the Kanagawa government has decided to provide additional cooperation subsidy for stores and facilities that will be closed from May 7 to May 31. Even without a request from the Prefecture, businesses that voluntarily closed their doors to avoid the three densities of “closed, dense, and close” in order to prevent the spread of infectious diseases will also be newly eligible for the grant.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has also decided to provide a second round of closure cooperation benefits, and applications for these benefits will begin on June 17. However, just as in the first round, the second round of the program is limited to companies that have received a request from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to suspend or shorten business hours. Companies that are not subject to the request will not be eligible for the program. The Tokyo Metropolitan Government provides 500,000 yen for both the first and second rounds of the program.
As soon as possible after the completion of the payment for the first “cooperative payment to prevent the spread of infection”.
